This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Layton, UT, for a Diesel Mechanic. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing diesel‑powered vehicles and heavy equipment. Day‑to‑day tasks include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting equipment diagnostics, and ensuring vehicles and equipment function efficiently and safely. The role also involves working collaboratively with the operations team to minimize downtime and support project success.

• Experience with diesel mechanics and heavy equipment repair
• Proficiency in vehicle maintenance and equipment maintenance
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
• Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of workplace safety protocols
• Prior experience in demolition or construction industries is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in diesel mechanics are preferred
