Home 2 Suites Layton – Weekend Maintenance Technician
Home 2 Suites Layton is hiring a part‑time Weekend Maintenance Technician to help keep our hotel safe, functional, and guest‑ready while our Chief Maintenance Technician is off.
Compensation & Benefits- $15 per hour

- Preventative maintenance and timely repairs property‑wide
- Diagnosing and supporting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems
- Painting, flooring, patching, and general building repairs
- Equipment maintenance, installations, and minor construction work
- Maintaining safety, cleanliness, and a professional appearance across all areas
- Following OSHA safety standards and security protocols
- Communicating clearly with guests, vendors, leadership, and team members
- HVAC experience
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity)
- Ability to understand work orders, safety procedures, and communicate clearly
- Team‑oriented with strong problem‑solving and organizational skills
- Customer‑service mindset with attention to detail and safety
- Hotel or commercial maintenance experience
Part‑time weekend shift every Saturday and Sunday, 8 AM to 4 PM.
LocationLocated near the Layton Hills Mall and the Davis Conference Center in Layton, UT.
