Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a talented part-time Assistant Bread Baker
. We are looking for an individual who is as passionate about food quality, customer service, community as we are. In the role of Assistant Bread Baker
, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team who will offer a unique menu selection of artisan, sweet, and seasonal breads all baked with honest, whole ingredients.

• Proven track record of demonstrating superhero abilities in the kitchen—from following recipes to paying close attention to details to create one-of-a-kind breads. You may lift large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies weighing up to 50 lbs; ability to stand, lift, and mix is required.
• The ability to work through change and be flexible while keeping a close eye on what s cooking.
• Maintain schedule availability to work afternoons/nights. Bread Baking shifts start around 11 am – 7 pm, with a shift on Sunday when the store is closed; during holidays, shifts may flex into overnight hours.

• Large-scale baking/pastry experience (preferred but not required; training may be provided for the right person).
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for food handling and sanitation standards.
• Formal baking/pastry education is a bonus.

• Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for the role of Bread Baker at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe.
