Do you enjoy working outdoors? Harmon & Sons is hiring for several technician positions including;
Lawn, Tree and Pest Control. We are looking for individuals that want to join our growing team and keep our business #1 in our surrounding communities.

As a Harmon & Sons technician, you will play a crucial role in providing our valued customers with top-tier services and excellent Customer Service. You’ll be responsible for applying fertilizers, weed control, pest control, tree injections and other specialty treatments; ensuring a beautiful and healthy landscape that our customers have grown to expect and love!

What You Will Do:

• Safely and accurately apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and other products, according to the label, schedules and follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed (as required by the State of Utah)
• Follow ALL safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide remarkable customer service by addressing any concerns and/or questions courteously and professionally.
• Able to diagnose basic landscape issues and relay those findings back to the customer.
• Operate and maintain company equipment, including but not limited to: hand cans, backpack sprayers, spreaders, pumps, motors, hoses and trouble shooting any mechanical issues.
• Assist with other tasks, such as: route and truck preparation, equipment maintenance, etc.

• The ability to work independently and even more important to be able to work as a team.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate to the customers, as well as the office.
• Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
• A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Legal resident of the United States.

** Applicants that have a current Utah State Ag. Dept. license(s) will start at a higher rate! Salary depends on experience and licensing.**

• You MUST be able to obtain a State of Utah Ag. License, but are able to job shadow until you are ready to take the tests.
• Harmon & Sons will supply all study materials needed, to help you obtain your pesticide license through UDAF.
• Newly licensed applicators / technicians will be compensated according to their ability to grasp our company's techniques and ideals.
• Dependability, punctuality and excellent customer service is a MUST!!!
