Out of the Woods Custom Cabinetry is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cabinet Assembler to join our team in Layton, Utah
. This role is responsible for assembling high-quality cabinets using finished wood components while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
In this position, you will work with woodworking tools and equipment to assemble cabinet components accurately and efficiently. Some team members may also assist with delivering completed cabinets to job sites and interacting with customers.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys working with wood products, takes pride in craftsmanship, and thrives in a team‑oriented shop environment.
Pay: $16 - $22/hr
Schedule: Mon - Thurs 6a - 3:30p & Fri 6a - 11a

Cabinet Assembly
Assemble cabinet boxes by installing drawer slides, accessories, doors, drawer boxes, and drawer fronts.
Set up and operate woodworking machinery and tools.
Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
Read and follow blueprints or work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
Follow all safety and quality procedures while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Report equipment issues or safety concerns immediately.
Load finished cabinets into company trucks and secure them for transport.
Drive cabinets to job sites while following all traffic laws and company policies.
Unload cabinets safely at delivery locations.
Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
Maintain delivery equipment and vehicles in good working condition.
Assist the warehouse and assembly team when deliveries are not scheduled.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in cabinetry, woodworking, assembly, construction, or manufacturing preferred.
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment.
Basic math skills and ability to read measurements and instructions.
Ability to handle and move wood products carefully while maintaining product quality.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test.
Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company insurance requirements (required for delivery assignments).
Box truck or delivery driving experience is a plus.
Spanish language skills are a plus.
Work is performed primarily in a warehouse environment.
Regularly stand for extended periods while assembling cabinets.
Read labels, measurements, work orders, and computer screens.
Handle and move cabinet components and materials safely.
Perform repetitive tasks using hands, wrists, and arms while operating tools and equipment.
