Cleaning Team Supervisor at Beehive Meals
Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm.
GENERAL PURPOSEThe Cleaning Team Supervisor plays a pivotal role in keeping Beehive Meals' production and facility spaces spotless, organized and audit-ready. This person will lead an internal cleaning team responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order across all production, warehouse, office and common areas.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesBeyond daily cleaning, this role will own the facility organization - ensuring that every space, shelf, and supply has a designated place and remains consistent. The supervisor will catalog facility items, supplies, and tools, and lead the team in organizational projects that improve efficiency and support food‑safety compliance.
- Lead, schedule, and support an internal cleaning team across all suites and facility areas.
- Conduct daily walkthroughs to verify cleaning completion and organizational standards.
- Ensure all sanitation tasks meet SQF, OSHA, and Beehive Meals' internal standards.
- Create and maintain a facility organization catalog (documenting locations, quantities, and standards for all tools, supplies, and storage areas).
- Ensure all facility spaces (warehouses, offices, meeting areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and storage zones) are clean, labeled, and visually organized.
- Lead organizational projects, including labeling, shelving, and layout improvements.
- Partner with the Facility & Equipment Maintenance Manager to implement 5S or similar workplace organization systems.
- Provide ongoing training on cleaning procedures, chemical handling, PPE use, and safety protocols.
- Submit supply orders and monitor usage to stay within budget guidelines.

- 2+ years of experience leading a janitorial, custodial, or sanitation team in a manufacturing or food‑production environment.
- Strong organizational and system‑building skills; able to create structure from chaos.
- Experience with cleaning chemicals, PPE, and sanitation best practices.
- Familiarity with food‑safety standards (SQF, HACCP, GMP) preferred.
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and highly dependable.
- Possess strong communication skills in English to effectively lead and collaborate with cleaning team.
