Project Architect

Silverpeak Engineering is seeking a talented, detail-oriented, project-manager-level Architect to join our team, working on a variety of commercial, educational, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and project management skills and the ability to represent the firm while leading projects through all phases of design and construction.

• Work with the design team to solve detailed design requirements
• Consult with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements
• Attend client meetings and lead day-to-day consultant coordination
• Develop and direct project detailing and specification documents
• Direct the activities of skilled drafters and structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers engaged in producing drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with the construction administration team, identifying potential issues and assisting with resolution
• Drive technical quality in construction documents throughout all project phases
• Organize project tasks and manage timelines to ensure deadlines are met

• College degree in Architecture
• Licensed Project Architect with commercial experience
• 3+ years of architectural project management experience in technical design and detailing of commercial construction projects
• Exceptional communication, design, and presentation skills
• Proven ability to coordinate design documents for construction
• Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam
• Working knowledge of building codes and other applicable design codes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with clients
• Self-directed, motivated, and detail-oriented

$70k - $110k annually, depending on experience
