Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Oklahoma or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience (6 months required)
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to provide work history and permanent address
• Relevant nursing certifications preferred (facility will review applicants without all certifications)

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications for patients
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs in a clinical setting
• Adjust and monitor specialized medical equipment as needed
• Interpret and record patient measurements and vital signs
• Report adverse reactions to medications promptly
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
