Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Job – 13-Week Assignment in Lawton, Oklahoma

• Location: Lawton, Oklahoma 73505 (Oklahoma nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: December 18, 2025 – End: March 19, 2026)
• Unit: 14-bed Medical Surgical Adult Unit (1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio)
• Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570 – $1,610
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma or compact state (Oklahoma RN jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Current nursing certification
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 14-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and initiate IVs as needed
• Adjust and monitor specialized medical equipment
• Interpret and record patient measurements and vital signs
• Monitor patients for adverse medication reactions and report promptly
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
