Work Experience:

The Sonographer will provide ultrasound services, timely and efficiently, at appropriate levels to all patients and in all settings served by the department. The Sonographer will also perform tasks and duties as outlined in the Imaging Services Department’s Policy and Procedures and will assist in assigned administrative tasks. Verifies patient and procedural information; prepares patients for exams; educates patients and family members;

performs exams; communicates and transmits reports to physicians; complies and organizes data for radiologist; stocks, prepares and cleans exam rooms; and transport patients. The Sonographer will maintain clinical competencies through participation in Hospital and Departmental educational and orientation programs License:
ARDMS

Certifications:

BLS/CPR Certification.
