DEFINITION
Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to patients and assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment for all age groups. Collects data and reports any unexpected findings to the charge nurse.
EDUCATIONCertified Nurse Aide – As required by the Certification Board of Oklahoma
REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE)Current Basic Life Support.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Certified Nurse Aide certification
- Experience in hospital setting
- Study in nursing program of fundamental care
- Nurse Aide – Work experience as a Nurse Aide
