Speech Pathologist
DEFINITION
The staff speech pathologist will provide a full range of diagnostic and clinical services for inpatients and outpatients who may be classified as infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric, with speech and language problems, cognitive deficits, voice and fluency problems, and swallowing in a multidisciplinary team approach and participation. The therapist must be licensed as a certified speech pathologist in the State of Oklahoma, or be eligible for licensure.
REGULATORYREQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE)
Must have permanent Oklahoma State licensure or have Oklahoma Temporary Permit under direct supervision pending permanent licensure.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with neurogenic patients, as well as patients with dysphagia. Previous clinical rotations with both adults and pediatrics preferred. CPR Certification
