Overview

We are looking for a Child Care Master Teacher to encourage the healthy intellectual and developmental growth of the children at Wonder Kids Academy. You will teach and supervise them while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination.

Responsibilities
  • Design and follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material.
  • Provide basic care and care giving activities.
  • Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the child's abilities.
  • Evaluate children's performance to make sure they are on the right learning track.
  • Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children.
  • Observe children's interactions and promote developmentally appropriate play.
  • Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action.
  • Support and collaborate with other teaching personnel.
  • Adhere to teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources.
  • Providing input on program development and evaluation.
Minimum Requirements
  • Must have a current Oklahoma Professional Development Ladder (OPDL) certificate of Level 4 or higher.
  • Meet and maintain all state licensing requirements, accreditation criteria and Wonder Kids Academy Policies.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have CDA, Certificate of Mastery, or Early Childhood Degree.

Job

Full-time.

Pay

$14-16 per hour Based on experience.

Schedule

Monday-Friday.
