Overview
Korzen Health seeks a part-time Wound Care Physician (MD/DO) available 2-3 days/week for our Wound Care Clinic program in the Lawton, OK market, in collaboration with Memorial Hospital and Healogics.
For over 25 years, Healogics has been treating patients with chronic wounds from over 600 hospital-based wound care centers across the country. Currently, Healogics treats over 300,000 wound care patients annually and has healed nearly 4 million wounds. Healogics is the world's leading expert in wound healing.
Responsibilities- Provide primarily procedural wound care in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Perform minor procedures such as suturing and incision and drainage (I&D).
- Collaborate with a full clinical team including Case Manager, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses, Office Manager, and Front/Back End Support.
- Promote healing through advanced wound-care treatments including cellulitis therapy, compression therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infection management and prevention, wound cleaning, and wound dressing.
- Manage patient appointments; standard work hours approximately 40 hours per week with no night shifts, on-call, holidays, or weekends (PRN availability may vary); schedule details provided on request.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in their core specialty.
- MD or DO degree.
- Clear and Active State Medical License and a DEA License.
- Recent procedural experience; credentialing includes procedural case logs.
- Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy training available; a full clinical team will be in place from the start date.
A full 60-hour training program will be provided.
