Job SummaryAs a Production Planner/Scheduler at EMUS, you will apply strong analytical, organizational, results‑driven, and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced, safety‑conscious manufacturing environment. Your role involves planning, scheduling, and coordinating the flow of work and materials through manufacturing operations for major product lines to meet production and customer requirements, ensuring smooth and cost‑efficient operations while complying with company policies.
Responsibilities- Plan production schedules for assigned manufacturing processes to optimize output and meet customer requirements.
- Revise schedules to accommodate product demand fluctuations, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions.
- Analyze internal and/or external customer requirements, inventory conditions, and production capacity to determine material and manpower needs.
- Review and adjust production material lists, change notices, and customer orders to reflect changes.
- Monitor and set inventory levels to avoid shortages and excess inventory.
- Requisition and coordinate ordering and expediting of materials to maintain inventory levels.
- Compile records, update files, and prepare periodic reports summarizing production rates, output, material inventory and usage, and product demand.
- Coordinate or conduct physical inventory counts with warehouse personnel; verify, reconcile counts, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
