As a Multi-Unit Team Leader
, you’ll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. You’ll lead customer-centric teams to accelerate the seasonal tax business and serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving all office growth objectives for three tax offices. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.

• Provide leadership over three offices and guide the customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business.
• Lead the development of associates and deliver an outstanding client experience while achieving office growth objectives.
• Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics with support from Associate Team Leaders.
• Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement.
• Assist the DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions.
• Conduct timely performance reviews and collaborate with the Associate Relations Center to resolve issues and address performance concerns.
• Build an engaging team environment across all offices by training and coaching associates and recognizing outstanding contributions.
• Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates.
• Create associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management.
• Travel between offices as required.
• Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Note:
  
  Start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transition to full-time January through April, including evenings and weekends as needed. This role is in-person and not remote.

• Multi-unit people management experience in retail, restaurant, banking, or related industries.
• Ability to implement growth plans and foster a growth-oriented culture.
• Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience.
• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
