Facilities Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our physical therapy and wellness center in Lawrenceville, Georgia. As a part-time Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement facility maintenance and cleaning schedules to ensure the facility is clean and well-maintained at all times
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment, fixtures, and furniture to ensure they are functioning properly and in compliance with safety standards
  • Manage relationships with vendors and contractors for facility maintenance and repairs
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential safety hazards and address them promptly
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and order replacements as needed
  • Coordinate with the management team to develop and implement facility improvement projects
  • Monitor and manage facility budget to ensure cost-effective operations
  • Train and supervise facility staff to ensure they are knowledgeable and efficient in their roles
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to facility operations and safety
  • Respond to facility emergencies and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in facilities management or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a healthcare or wellness setting
  • Strong knowledge of facility maintenance and safety regulations
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and facility management software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate facility needs, including occasional evenings and weekends
