Responsibilities

Manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of the appropriate division.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. (See Knowledge Base, Section D, Professional Attributes.)
- Demonstrated proficiency in skills applicable to designated area within probationary period.
- Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
PREFERRED:
- National certification in specialty area.
KNOWLEDGE BASE:
- A. Maintains professional nursing license.
- B. Is committed to professional growth through education: degree pursuit specialty certification continuing education expanding the body of nursing knowledge
- C. Acts as a change agent, rooted in research findings and basic science.
