Operation Manager with Home Health experience

We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to lead caregiver recruitment, on-boarding, employee relations, and overall operations for our expanding agency.
Note:
Applicants without at least 2 years of direct home care experience (office and field) will not be considered.
As Operations Manager, you’ll take ownership of hiring and supporting caregivers, nurses, and administrative staff. Your efforts will directly impact the quality of care we provide and the strength of our team culture. You’ll also help us maintain compliance and ensure we’re meeting the needs of both clients and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage recruitment strategies to fill caregiver, nurse, and office roles.
- Conduct phone screenings, interviews, and manage new hire onboarding/orientation.
- Track credentials and perform compliance checks through Gammis and references.
- Maintain applicant tracking systems and provide weekly hiring updates (e.g., Hireology, Indeed, Pre-Intent software).
- Support job fair participation (virtual/in-person) and job listing marketing efforts.
- Perform bi-monthly audits and ensure records are up-to-date and compliant.
- Collaborate with caregivers, office staff, and families to support successful case onboarding.
- Contribute to employee recognition programs and culture-building initiatives.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in home care (both field and office roles required).
- 5+ years of experience in the healthcare or medical field.
- Strong background in recruitment, onboarding, and HR compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and online hiring platforms.
- Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Familiarity with Medicaid waiver programs and Gammis.
- Experience with conflict resolution and employee engagement.
- Ability to present new ideas to improve recruitment and retention strategies.
- 2 weeks paid vacation annually (prorated, use-it-or-lose-it).
