. This position is based in Lawrenceville, Georgia, with the option to travel to diverse facilities nationwide. The role starts on 01/26/2026, is contract‑defined in weeks, and guarantees a minimum of 40 hours per week. It offers a stable, predictable schedule and reliable clinical coverage.

As a Traveling Ultrasound Tech, you will perform abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and small parts ultrasound examinations. You will position patients with care, adjust technical parameters for optimal image quality, and implement standardized imaging protocols. You’ll document findings for radiologists, participate in double‑check workflows, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations across multiple modalities.
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and administrative staff to coordinate exams and manage patient flow.
  • Maintain and uphold safety, infection control, and quality standards.
  • Participate in onboarding, credentialing, and ongoing training for new locations.
  • Support continuous quality improvement and share best practices with the travel network.
Qualifications
  • Certified Ultrasound Technologist with radiology experience.
  • Strong patient‑first approach, accuracy, and technical proficiency.
  • Ability to adapt to varied clinical settings and maintain high standards of care.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
  • Willingness to travel and work in different facilities across the U.S.
