Develop the technology roadmap for this function based on future needs and technology development and manage the closure of the gaps with internal (Research, Core Products, production plants), and external resources (suppliers, institutes…)
Equipment Reliability
Preventive Maintenance Reviews
New Technology
Advise and decide the optimal test equipment to meet determined customer programs based on process performance and economics in conjunction with the production plant
Supervise new function and equipment development within Core Products, Product Engineering and plants
Be the owner of the equipment and process specification; define, release, update, and distribute as required. Includes spare part management.
Implement lessons learned
Lead equipment design reviews and release of deviations
Continuous improvement of capital, tooling and labor productivity
Responsible for equipment benchmarking
Technical education (Degree in Engineering or comparable) required
Relevant technical knowledge of your defined functional area
Knowledge in defining process equipment & technologies
Product design knowledge a plus
Knowledge in Six Sigma and Quality Management Tools
Microsoft Office product knowledge required
CAD/Solidworks knowledge required
