Position: Industrial Automation Sales Manager (Controls Systems Integration)

We are seeking an experienced and personable Technical Sales Manager with a strong engineering foundation and proven success selling control systems integration and automation solutions
. The ideal candidate will have hands-on familiarity with Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation) and Siemens control products and a background working for or with a distributor, OEM, or systems integrator
. This is a customer-facing, on-site role based in Lawrenceville, GA
, responsible for driving business growth throughout the Southeast region. The position combines technical expertise, solution-based sales, and relationship management to deliver value-driven automation solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage strong customer relationships throughout the Southeast region.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities in control systems integration
    , automation
    , and industrial control solutions
    .
  • Leverage existing customer contacts and prior sales experience in the Southeast market.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to design and propose tailored control system solutions.
  • Present automation solutions that clearly communicate technical and commercial benefits to customers.
  • Stay informed on current technologies, products, and trends related to Siemens and Allen-Bradley control systems.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, reports, and forecasts using Microsoft Word and Excel
    .
  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused presence, representing the company with integrity and technical competence.
Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 5–10 years of experience in engineering
    , technical sales
    , or solution selling within control systems integration or industrial automation
    .
  • Hands-on familiarity with Allen-Bradley (Rockwell Automation) and Siemens control products (PLCs, HMIs, drives, and related components).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
    .
  • Must work on-site in Lawrenceville, GA and live within a 40-minute commute
    , or be willing to relocate nearby.
  • Experience working for or closely with a distributor, OEM, or systems integrator serving industrial automation markets.
  • Proven success selling complex engineered solutions with long sales cycles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude and a passion for helping clients solve technical challenges.
