Job SummaryGeorgia Gwinnett College is now accepting applications for part-time faculty positions in Religion in the School of Liberal Arts for the academic year ). The posting will remain active for AY25-26 hiring (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Part-Time faculty positions are semester-based, report to the Department Chair, and may be conducted in face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended formats. Positions are on an as-needed basis and may require additional time outside of class for student feedback and meetings.
Classes are offered in the fall, spring, and/or summer with morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend offerings.
A minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
Preferred Qualifications- Terminal degree in the teaching discipline
- 1-year college-level teaching
- Sustained professional engagement that demonstrates relevance and currency in the field of teaching
Knowledge: Strong commitment to undergraduate education, student engagement, and service to the college and community. GGC values innovative teaching, advising, and mentoring (advising and mentoring are expected of all faculty).
