Job SummaryGeorgia Gwinnett College is accepting applications for part-time faculty positions in Anthropology in the Liberal Arts for the academic year . The posting remains active for AY25-26 hiring (Fall, Spring, Summer). Part-Time faculty positions are semester-based and report to the Department Chair. Courses may be offered in face-to-face, online, hybrid, and/or blended formats. Positions are on an as-needed basis and require additional time outside of class to provide written feedback and meet with students.
Classes may be offered in fall, spring, and/or summer semesters with morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend options.
Required
A minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
Preferred
- Terminal degree in the teaching discipline
- 1-year college-level teaching
- Sustained professional engagement demonstrating relevance and currency in the field
Strong commitment to undergraduate education, student engagement, and service to the college and community. GGC values innovative teaching, advising, and mentoring; advising and mentoring are expected of all faculty.
