Job SummaryGeorgia Gwinnett College is accepting applications for part-time faculty positions in Business Statistics/Quantitative Analysis in the School of Business for the academic year ). The posting remains active for AY25-26 hiring (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Part-time faculty positions are semester-based and report to the Department Chair. Courses may be delivered face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended formats. Positions are on an as-needed basis and may require additional time outside of class for written feedback and student meetings.
Classes are offered in the fall, spring, and/or summer semesters, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Develop course curricula, including the syllabus, lesson plans, and graded assignments, in accordance with the requirements of the upper division program and in consultation with the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs.
- Review, evaluate, and recommend student learning materials.
- Evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving institutional and course goals.
- Timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a master s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
- Terminal degree in the teaching discipline
- 1-year college-level teaching
- Sustained professional engagement that demonstrates relevance and currency in the field of teaching
