Job SummaryThe Georgia Gwinnett College Office of Student Life, Student Outreach, and Service is dedicated to promoting a supportive, creative learning environment by developing the campus community through high‑quality, student‑centered programs and services. The Office of Student Life—Student Outreach and Service is seeking enthusiastic students to help promote volunteer opportunities for students, faculty, and staff. In this role, you’ll support Grizzlies Serve, collaborate with community‑based organizations, and assist in building meaningful relationships that connect the GGC community with local service efforts.
Responsibilities- Support the planning and execution of volunteer and service initiatives across campus.
- Track and log volunteer hours for students, staff, and faculty using the GGC Serves platform.
- Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of training and onboarding processes for campus and community users of the GGC Serves system.
- Produce reports and analyze data to identify engagement trends and inform program development.
- Assist with the day‑to‑day coordination of Grizzlies Serve, Student Outreach and Service community programs, and related service initiatives.
- Cultivate and sustain partnerships with approved Community‑Based Organizations to enhance service opportunities.
- Deliver classroom presentations to raise awareness about Student Outreach and Service and promote the use of GGC Serves.
- Contribute to the design and distribution of marketing materials to promote programs and engagement opportunities.
Work Hours – Position may require non‑standard work hours (nights and weekends).
- Must have a Federal Work‑Study Award
- Must be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours with a minimum of a 2.0 GPA at Georgia Gwinnett College.
