Position Overview:
United Digestive’s North East Atlanta Gastroenterology practice is seeking two dedicated Gastroenterologists to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient GI care within a supportive, well-established practice. The roles are suitable for new graduates through 2025 and offer a competitive compensation package with full benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consultative inpatient Gastroenterology services, including management of all unassigned GI patients and those under United Digestive care.
- Perform general GI procedures and interventions, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Cover hospitalist services on a 7-day-on, 7-day-off schedule, totaling approximately 22 weeks annually.
- Respond to inpatient consultations from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
- Collaborate with two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who support 7-day coverage each week.
- Night call responsibilities are managed by current United Digestive physicians.
- Participate in hospitalist coverage during scheduled periods not covered by the two new physicians.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- BC or BE in Gastroenterology; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Georgia.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
