Location: NE Georgia OR North Carolina/South Carolina
The ASM will work directly with and develop dealer operations for ~30-45 stores. This position serves as the primary point of contact between the dealer and the company headquarters. This position is responsible for dealer’s performance, customer service, brand compliance, store visitations, facility evaluations, and store takeovers as needed.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Calls on designated territory accounts on a regular basis, works with each account in the areas of training, marketing, and sales to form a mutually beneficial partnership
- Perform monthly and quarterly business reviews with dealers to provide feedback and critical items for improvement
- Identify and recruit new accounts; identify opportunities with tenants and dealers for potential commission agents, company operations, etc.
- Manage expenses within planned budgets
- Price counseling to maximize sales potential
- Maintain accurate and current records of sales performance, planning, account information, business expenditures, etc.
- Coordinate with construction, maintenance, and environmental team members to meet requirements and solve any issues, including conducting visual inspections
- Anticipate and communicate any operational or financial issues with dealers
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
- Analytical mindset with a focus on results and profitability
- Ability to travel regularly within the assigned area (up to 50%)
- Self starter who thrives in a fast paced, independent environment
- In depth business aptitude including P&L analysis, communication skills, and public speaking
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Multi-unit leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge in merchandising best practices, vendor relations, and fuel equipment highly preferred
