OverviewThis role sits at the heart of Sage’s Strategic Alliances team, supporting how we work with partners to generate pipeline and drive growth. You’ll help turn partner programs, events and campaigns into tangible outcomes – working closely with Strategic Alliance Managers and Partners to make sure activity converts into real opportunity.
Responsibilities- Build and segment target audiences:
Create high-quality invite lists and audience segments for partner campaigns and events, working closely with Alliance Managers and partners. - Follow up and qualify leads:
Act quickly on inbound leads from events and campaigns, qualify opportunities using frameworks such as BANT or CHAMP, and schedule next steps with Account Executives. - Deliver product demonstrations:
Run standard Sage product demos and support early pre-sales conversations with partners and prospects. - Pipeline Health:
Keep alliance-sourced opportunities moving, maintain strong CRM hygiene and track pipeline progression through to handoff. - Manage partner data & attribution:
Ensure clean CRM data, resolve duplicates and maintain accurate partner attribution to protect reporting and pipeline integrity. - Support partner & field events:
Coordinate logistics for alliance and field events, manage booth and materials readiness.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience of working towards targets.
- Familiarity with operating computer software/programs.
- Experience in a lead-generating sales role.
- Basic understanding of sales framework (e.g.; BANT or SPIN).
