Job SummaryThis professional position administers GGC's Purchasing Card (P-CARD) program, ensures policy compliance, and manages P-Card related activities. Reports to the Director of Procurement.
Responsibilities- Overseeing daily operations of the P-Card program, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Oversee supplier relations including new suppliers, existing suppliers, supplier issues, and e-Verify reporting
- Maintain P-Card documents including cardholder information, statements, training, etc.
- Monitor internal controls regarding P-Card transactions
- Provide training and support as needed. Ensure online training courses are up to date with policy
- Process documentation for new P-Cards as appropriate
- Reconcile all P-Card statements monthly as well as reconcile monthly account statement with PCARD upload
- Request payment for Bank of America
- Assist the director during the PCard Audit period; other duties as assigned
- 2 Year / Associate Degree in accounting, finance, business or related field OR combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge.
- 2 or more years of experience in accounting, budgeting or a related field.
- Procurement experience in a university, non-profit, public or governmental setting
- People Soft experience
42,100 - 50,500. Salary offer will be dependent on candidate's experience and qualifications, internal equity considerations, budget availability, and salary administration guidelines.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Strong computer skills, with a high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with internal contacts
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
