The Sales Manager will have a strong background in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or food & beverage sales, with proven success managing key retail accounts and expanding market share.
Key Activities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow revenue across grocery, C-store, club, and independent retail channels.
- Manage relationships with key retail accounts and distribution partners, negotiating pricing, promotions, and contracts.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the company’s footprint across regional and national retail chains.
- Collaborate with marketing and trade teams to execute promotional strategies and in-store activations.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies to meet targets.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, brokers, and merchandisers to ensure territory coverage and sales execution.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior leadership.
- Ensure alignment with supply chain and operations to maintain inventory levels and fulfillment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in CPG or food/beverage industry.
- Knowledge of syndicated data (e.g., IRI, Nielsen) and retail analytics.
- Prior experience working with major national and regional retailers.
Educations & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience, with a strong focus on grocery, C-store, or multi-channel retail.
- Deep understanding of retail operations, distributor networks, and buyer dynamics.
