Our client in the Gwinnett county area, GA is hiring for the role of Senior Accountant. The role will report to the Corporate Controller and will play a critical part in monthly financial closings, analysis, and process improvement efforts. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical accounting skills who is also excited about mentorship and driving operational efficiency.
Responsibilities- Perform month-end closing activities including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Assist with accounts payable, credit card management, and audit support.
- Lead system implementation and help develop or refine accounting SOPs.
- Serve as a resource to accounting staff across multiple locations and contribute to process improvements.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA or Master’s degree strongly preferred.
3+ years of accounting experience in public accounting or industry.
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency; experience with Sage Intacct a plus.
Experience with multi-entity consolidations and Private Equity environments is preferred.
