The position involves providing timely and efficient completion of client transactions, maintaining accurate records, and handling monies properly. The role supports sales and service activities, with a focus on outbound calling and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.
Responsibilities
Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure consistent service levels by engaging clients with courteous conversation and handling both complex and standardized transactions while identifying client needs.Educate clients on digital and self-service solutions (ATMs, Online, Mobile banking) to enhance their service experience.Support the sales process by participating in client outreach, checking for offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities; refer clients to the appropriate branch team members or specialists.Understand and apply Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions for clients’ needs.Participate in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.Advance personal and product knowledge through meetings, training, and web-based learning.Adhere to internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management policies; stay informed of policy changes to ensure compliance.Serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution; handle a proportional volume of work based on branch demands.Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentTwo years of teller or cash handling or client service experienceSix months of client relationship building or sales experienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to master PC keyboard and software skills for branch automationAbility to multi-task under time constraintsProficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs and potential locale changesAbility to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnightsPreferred Qualifications:
One year of client relationship building or sales experienceKnowledge of advanced or complex branch transactions, risk management, and loss preventionExperience with sourcing and prospecting for new clientsGeneral understanding of bank operations, policies, and proceduresBenefits
