- Monitor plastic extrusion or stranding lines to ensure high-quality, timely cable production.
- Perform machine startups, changeovers, and preventative maintenance.
- Conduct measurement checks to meet quality standards.
- Report production issues and equipment concerns proactively.
- Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in manufacturing and/or warehouse roles (within the last 7 years).
- Ability to pass a skills test, background check, and drug screening.
- Visual ability to distinguish 12 basic colors.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and manually roll reels up to 800 lbs (with or without accommodation).
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts with physical movement (stooping, bending, standing, sitting).
- Proficiency in basic calculations and measurement tools (calipers, tape measures, thickness gauges).
- Full range of motion in shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers.
- Starting Hourly Compensation Rate: $20.52.
