Position: Production Mirror Tube Welder (Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast)

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled welders who can confidently weld boiler tubes using a mirror. The ideal candidate will have experience working inside an industrial boiler and performing quality mirror welds while adhering to industry codes & standards. This role is a member of the HBBW Field Service division, meaning that this is a travel based position, servicing emergency outages and scheduled shutdowns.

Responsibilities

* Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

* Working during forced outages/emergencies (day or night shift)

* Performing high quality welds with sometimes limited visibility,

* Familiar with a range of filler metals and welding processes to perform welds on boiler tubes and components,

* Making, installing, and repairing boilers,

* Welding and bolting pieces together,

* Testing boilers & performing routine maintenance,

* Reading and interpreting diagrams, sketches, blueprints,

* Performing jobs safely while adhering to all safety guidelines,

* Responsibility for quality and safety while in the workplace.

Skills

* Pass a Restricted Mirror Tube Test

* Experience welding boiler tubes / mirror welding

Pay

$34, hotel while working & $30 per diem daily.
