Our platform was born out of pure necessity — and a little frustration. Ok, a lot of frustration.
As parents, we were constantly jumping between clunky websites, endless spreadsheets, and scattered forms just to plan a decent summer for our kids. It is harder than it needed to be.
Camps are both amazing and a required necessity for working parents. The process of setting up the kids' summers should not require an intern to make it all work.
So, we decided to build what we couldn’t find: a central place where parents could easily discover, book, and manage camp experiences, and where camps could better connect with the families they’re meant to serve. We have designed our offering to make summer planning stress-free, organized, and honestly… enjoyable.
We are deeply experienced in scaling start-ups. Before we jumped into this venture, we have worked for 15+ years, both with some of the biggest names in tech, as well as start-ups. While we don't pretend we have all the answers, we know how to build from the ground up in the tech landscape.
Now, we are fully focused on reshaping the future of family tech, giving parents back their time, and helping camps thrive in the digital age.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will be someone who has experience across sales, partnerships, business development, marketing, or another tangential category. We need someone who is comfortable generating leads with new clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones. We have a very specific ICP - we know who we need to talk to. If we don't win their business today, we want to make sure we keep the door open for tomorrow.
It is important to appreciate that we are selling to camps, which is very different from selling B2B or enterprise. We are open to all types of backgrounds, but we are looking for someone who has patience and empathy to work with non-technical buyers.
Additional desired characteristics include:
- Is a natural relationship-builder
- Wants flexible, independent work
- Appreciates the camp world or parenting ecosystem
- Is excited about being in early, with real growth potential
You do not need a formal sales title in your background. You do need confidence, follow-through, and comfort reaching out consistently.
The founder can handle closing and onboarding. Your focus would be initiating conversations and booking qualified meetings. And if you want to run the full sales cycle eventually...great. The sky is the limit.
This is excellent for someone looking to get back into the game after a career break, or for someone who is eager for a lot of flexibility without committing to the typical ~40 hours per week. This IS very entrepreneurial, however, so we need a true professional, who is dedicated to run hard and make it happen.
If you miss building momentum, want flexibility, and are motivated by performance-based upside, this could be a unique opportunity.
Please note this is a 1099 commission-only position.
