Overview
Job Title: Registered Nurse – Pediatrics
Location: Lawrence MA
Employment Type: 13 week contract
Shift: 12 Hour Nights
Pay Rate: up to $2750 weekly + benefits from day 1!
Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatrics team. The Pediatric RN provides patient-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents while collaborating with families and interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients across varying acuity levels
- Assess, monitor, and document patients’ physical and emotional status
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare team members
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and home care
- Monitor for changes in patient condition and respond appropriately
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
- Provide age-appropriate, family-centered care
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required; BSN preferred)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required or must be obtained within [X] months
- Pediatric nursing experience preferred (new graduates considered based on training)
- Strong pediatric assessment and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and family education abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassion, patience, and emotional intelligence
- Strong teamwork and critical thinking skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
- Lift and reposition pediatric patients and equipment as needed
- Ability to wear required PPE and comply with safety protocols
