An individual who will deal with entire site safety and proper coverage of site in accordance with Marine & Environmental Affairs Department. Beach Supervisors will receive policy from the Marine & Environmental Affairs Director and Sandy Neck Park Manager. Financial oversight and personnel supervision of seasonal staff, implement policies imposed by the MEA division, and manage specific tasks being conducted by fee collection personnel.
May be subjected to extremes of weather.
Minimum Qualifications:
Community CPR and First Aid. Supervisory experience required.
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of beach operations. Knowledge of public relations. Ability to identify and handle emergency procedures. Knowledge of how to plan, organize and coordinate staff for adequate coverage of a swim program and beach operation. Ability to oversee a revenue collection program. Enforce rules and regulations set forth by the Town of Barnstable, State and Federal Government.
REQUIRED TO WORK ALL WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS THROUGHOUT TERM OF EMPLOYMENT.
