Branch Operations Manager – WORLDPAC

Overview

The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the Branch, including the management of assets.

Responsibilities
  • Interviewing, hiring and training new team members; conducting performance appraisals, team member counseling and disciplinary actions, addressing complaints and resolving problems when possible.
  • Communicating regularly with the Regional Operations Manager and Human Resources when needed; instilling and maintaining a customer service‑oriented philosophy in all conduct to self and other team members.
  • Preparing and submitting an annual operational budget for approval and developing plans for the efficient use of resources; participating in planning personnel safety, ensuring safety procedures are followed and making recommendations regarding safety issues.
  • Coordinating with customers and Branch management team to evaluate, promote and provide improved and expanded services in the area.
  • Using a vehicle to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner; other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications
  • At least 4 years of prior leadership experience in a warehouse‑related field.
  • At least 1 year of cash‑handling experience.
  • Comfortable with using Microsoft Office applications.
  • High‑school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be available to open and close the warehouse, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays (as needed); meet all applicable state‑specific driver’s license requirements.
Ideal Candidates
  • Proficient with all aspects of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Extremely organized and demonstrates the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Understanding of staffing requirements and broad knowledge of multiple department functions.
  • Excellent multitasking ability.
  • Willingness to continue to evolve and develop personal skills to meet the changing environment.
  • Self‑starter and motivated individual.
  • Ability to challenge upwards respectfully.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and gain knowledge about all aspects of Branch operations.
  • Bilingual skills are preferred.
  • Understanding of P&L.
  • Education:

    High‑school diploma or GED equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
  • Must meet all applicable state‑specific driver’s license requirements prior to driving a company vehicle to perform delivery duties.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) per department standards.
