Principal Product Manager - Solutions Delivery Architecture

The Principal Product Manager – Performance Solutions Delivery Architecture is responsible for discovery, strategy, success metrics, planning, launch, and optimization of the client solutioning process from legacy Performance Solutions to Fact Set Performance Solution (FPS). Legacy solutions include SS&C Sylvan, SS&C Anova, Eagle Performance, Confluence Stat Pro, and others, and may include clients transitioning from Fact Set B-One to FPS.

This role represents Fact Set as a Performance Subject Matter Expert in client engagements during the solutioning phase of the sales and onboarding lifecycle, which begins in the sales process (pre-contract) and extends through implementation. The role collaborates across Product, Sales, Enterprise Hosting, Portfolio Services, Professional Services, and Support Services.

• Serve as the Performance Subject Matter Expert in new sales opportunities, especially for complex, multi-component Performance product sales.
• Partner with Sales, Professional Services, and Managed Services to understand client requirements through Product Assessments and Solutions Workshops.
• Design and document Performance solutions tailored to client business requirements.
• Advise on prioritizing implementation phases in collaboration with Professional Services.

• Produce comprehensive solution design documents to guide Professional Services in crafting Statements of Work (SOW) for implementation.
• Establish and document a prioritized gap list for clients, aligned with the implementation timeline and plan, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged.

• Work with Product, Sales, Enterprise Hosting, Portfolio Services, Professional Services, and Support Services to ensure cohesive client solutioning and implementation.
• Translate client use cases into actionable product enhancements across Performance and other functions as part of the solution design.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients during solutioning and implementation to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

• Extensive experience as a Performance Subject Matter Expert, with hands-on experience transitioning clients from legacy solutions (e.g., SS&C Sylvan, SS&C Anova, Eagle Performance, Confluence Stat Pro, Fact Set B-One) to new performance solutions.
• Strong background in leading client workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design.
• Ability to create detailed, actionable solution design documents and implementation plans.
• Demonstrated capability to collaborate across multiple internal teams and manage complex projects, inspiring cross-functional teams to deliver on the product solution and vision without direct authority.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, finance, economics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
