Job Title: Mammographer (Allied)
Location: Lawrence MA
Employment Type: 9 week contract
Shift: 8 hour days
Pay Rate: up to $3000 weekly + benefits from day 1
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Mammographer (Allied) to join our imaging team. The Mammographer performs high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams in accordance with established protocols
Prepare patients for procedures and provide education to ensure comfort and understanding
Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality images
Operate mammography equipment safely and effectively
Ensure compliance with MQSA, radiation safety, and ALARA guidelines
Review images for technical quality and accuracy prior to submission
Maintain mammography equipment and report malfunctions promptly
Accurately document procedures and patient information in EMR/PACS
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to infection control standards
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (required)
Current ARRT certification in Radiography (RT[R]) (required)
ARRT certification in Mammography (M) (required)
Active state licensure, where applicable
BLS certification required
Minimum [1] year of mammography experience preferred (new graduates with mammography training considered)

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Ability to stand and move for extended periods
Ability to assist with patient positioning and mobility
Ability to wear required protective equipment
