Position Summary
Merrimack Health is offering a sign‑on bonus of up to $6,000 for the Mental Health Associate role. As a full‑service acute care hospital with two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill, we provide comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and 24/7 emergency services. The Mental Health Associate (MHA) is responsible for performing duties necessary to maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu. Under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, the MHA will assist the nurse with care of patients whose needs do not require complex nursing skills.
Minimum Qualifications- Education:
High School Graduate or GED. - Experience:
Experience or training in the mental health or medical field preferred. - Certification/Licensure:
- BLS
- COAP within 30 days of onboarding.
- Must be able to successfully clear a background check, including a criminal search. Use or possession of a firearm and/or other weapons is prohibited.
