Partners in Child Development is a nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of every child to maximize their potential. Our programs include our Early Intervention Program, Anderson School (a special education school for children with complex medical needs), and Woodbridge School (early childhood education).
Job DescriptionOur Early Intervention Program has expanded to serve children and families in the Greater Lowell area and additional communities. We provide services to children ages 0-3 with developmental delays or at risk, at no cost to families, through therapeutic interventions embedded in daily routines. Our dedicated staff helps children reach developmental milestones, with children meeting goals before age three at three times the state average.

We are seeking a full-time/part-time Speech/Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Early Intervention Program serving the Lawrence area.
Responsibilities- Screen children for speech, language, cognitive communication, and feeding/swallowing difficulties.
- Contribute to the development of the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP), including strategies and family outcomes.
- Provide services through coordination with team members and community providers.
- Current Massachusetts Speech/Language Pathologist license and CCC from ASHA.
- Education and licensure as per MA Board of Registration in Speech/Language Pathology and Audiology.
- 1-2 years pediatric experience, preferably with developmental delays or disabilities.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, CPR and First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of child developmental milestones and disabilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to obtain or provide an NPI number and pass a criminal background check.
