We are looking for an Engineer I - Product to join our team! This position is responsible for working with semiconductor foundry, test, and manufacturing engineers. It will drive yield and quality improvement, cost reduction, and work with suppliers and subcontractors to qualify materials and electronic packages.

• Support ongoing product engineering efforts on qualified products; assist in problem-solving and improving existing products.
• Drive engineering efforts for new product qualification.
• Provide custom product engineering support.
• Create and/or review product documentation including Assembly/Post Assembly Travelers, Screening Travelers, and Data Sheets.
• Identify new product BOMs (Bill of Materials) as they are developed or changes as they are implemented.
• Support test engineers to improve assembly and test and follow up with corrective actions as assigned.

• BSEE, BSME or applicable engineering degree; MS preferred.
• Experience with AC/DC electrical parameter testing for diodes, transistors, and MOSFETs, including hands‑on test characterization and analysis.
• Experience with root‑cause and failure analysis, troubleshooting.
• Beneficial if the candidate has working knowledge of related military specifications including MIL‑PRF‑19500, MIL‑STD‑750, and MIL‑STD‑883 and uses this knowledge in reviewing customer drawings. All functions must meet these military standards.

• Ideally 2+ years experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment in product engineering, metal, or glass assembly processes.
• Six Sigma knowledge.
• FMEA, DMEA, 5‑whys, root‑cause analysis.
• Statistical tools experience – Minitab.
• Spice modeling and parameter extraction.
• Software skills in Lab View, Silvaco tool set, TCAD, Spice models.

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in Massachusetts, is $68,640–$143,000. Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
