Eagle Hill School, an independent boarding school in Hardwick, Massachusetts, seeks a History Teacher to join the faculty for the  school year. The successful candidate will hold a degree in history or education and demonstrate an innovative approach to curriculum design and instruction. Job Requirements
  • Readiness to teach all levels of history
  • Support students as they solve problems and think critically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
Responsibilities
  • Teaching a variety of high school history courses, including the eighth-grade courses in social studies
  • Incorporate technology and other resources to enhance student learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continually revise and implement the curriculum to adjust to diverse learners
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues about student progress
  • Engage in the boarding school community and co-curricular programs as well as provide inspirational and innovative education in the classroom setting
Schedule

This is a full-time position and requires the employee to be on site (not remote).
