Title
52 WEEK CLERK for Nutrition Service Department
Qualifications- Demonstrates knowledge of the methods and procedures involved in the preparing and serving of meals in a cafeteria.
- Demonstrates the ability to follow oral and written directives.
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills.
- Possesses ability to do heavy lifting.
The 52 Week Clerk is responsible for supporting all functions of the Nutrition Service Department.
Duties- Provides support to the Nutrition Service Department.
- Performs clerical tasks and outreach for the Nutrition Service Department.
- Supports registrations to programs (mobile market).
- Serves as ordering clerk for assigned/awarded vendors.
- Serves as receptionist for Nutrition Service Department.
- Performs a full range of specialized clerical tasks.
- Provides administrative and clerical support to administrators, specialists, and assistants as assigned.
- Maintains appropriate records.
- Prepares forms, letters, notices, newsletters, receipts, vouchers, reports, and other materials from rough drafts or instructions.
- Files/archives a variety of documents according to established procedures.
- Maintains office supply inventories.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, with both oral and written proficiency.
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal skills.
- Outgoing and pleasant demeanor.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Google Drive, email, and other frequently used technology.
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure.
- Enjoys being part of a busy environment with an energetic, passionate team.
- Flexible and able to adapt easily to changes.
- Meets all mandated health screening requirements.
- A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
- Complies with drug‑free workplace rules, board policies, and administrative guidelines/procedures.
- Ability to establish working relationships with co‑workers and function as part of a cohesive team.
- Commitment to keep current with skills essential to the objectives of the position.
- Prior Experience in a school/district setting.
- Bilingual.
Full‑time, 52 Weeks, Salary Commensurate with Experience and the Administrative Support Staff Agreement for Clerks (52 weeks).
SalaryIn accordance with Administrative Support Staff Agreement.

EvaluationPerformance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the School Committee's policy on evaluation of.
