WATER / WASTEWATER LEAD EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
We are looking for the right person to join our team as a Water/Wastewater Lead Equipment Operator. This position provides guidance and performs manual labor in the repair and maintenance of City water distribution and sewer collection systems. Duties for this position include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing activities of crew members on assigned projects;
- Perform preventative maintenance on a regular basis on water and sewer lines within the City of Miami;
- Install and connect water lines and water meters for new construction and properties;
- Proficiently use locators to safely identify utilities;
- Effectively operate back-hoe/excavator, loaders, skid steer, dump-trucks, tapping equipment, directional drilling equipment, air compressors, hydro vacuum truck, and jack hammers
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED REQUIRED; 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE HANDLING HEAVY EQUIPMENT; CLASS B CDL WITH TANKER ENDORSEMENT; WATER C / WASTEWATER C LICENSE
