Perform general repairs and replacements to damaged, deteriorated or otherwise non-functioning conditions found in and about the University buildings and campus. Apply journeyman level knowledge and experience in carpentry, plumbing or electrical. Additional experience must encompass a basic knowledge from three of the following disciplines: carpentry, plumbing, electrical and painting. Apply skill and responsibility in the use of tools and equipment of respective trades and be responsible for tools, materials and devices to perform tasks according to accepted practices.

Perform related duties as required to accomplish tasks.

Tuesday – Saturday 12:00pm – 8:30pm (Flexible Schedule).

Days Off:
Sunday & Monday.

• High School diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Two (2) years of experience in journeyman trades level work is required.
• Operation of equipment related to the trade, including bending, heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and stairs.
• Ability and willingness to follow verbal and written reports and utilize the work order system.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable working with all members of the university community, including fellow workers, staff, faculty, senior staff and the president.
• Must be able to meet University requirements to be authorized to drive University vehicles.

Salary SEIU Level E: $19.78–$28.09/hr the actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
