Kurt Goeser State Farm is looking for an energetic and motivated Sales & Service Intern to join our team! This is a part-time, year-round, in-office internship designed for students and individuals who want hands‑on experience in sales, customer service, marketing, and community outreach. If you enjoy working with people, learning new skills, and being part of a high‑performing team, this is a great opportunity to build professional experience while making an impact in the local community.

• Works around student school schedules
• In-office position
• Primary office location: 18th & Wakarusa, Lawrence, KS

• Making outgoing sales calls to prospects and supporting the sales team
• Helping market our services to local businesses
• Supporting social media efforts by increasing traffic and assisting with content creation
• Working with community partners to help grow referrals and networking opportunities
• Assisting with community event planning, organization, and participation
• Helping with phone calls and walk‑in customer support at the agency
• Assisting with retention and service projects to support customer needs

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Comfortable talking with people in person and over the phone
• Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Coachable and eager to learn
• Organized, reliable, and able to multitask
• Comfortable using computers and basic office technology
• Interest in sales, marketing, customer service, or business
