Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) supports nursing care delivery in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization, while ensuring compliance with laws and regulations related to patient information management. The role involves effective communication with clinical team members, including physicians, through verbal and written documentation focused on identified healthcare needs and care plans.

Responsibilities

+ Coordinate discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

+ Apply collaborative teamwork and leadership as part of an inter-professional team to support quality outcomes in care processes by utilizing information, resources, and technology.

+ Support Patient Centered Care processes including Evidence-Based Practices (EBP), safety initiatives, and process improvement strategies.

+ Exemplify professionalism through lifelong learning, contributing to the science of nursing, participating in governance, sharing knowledge to expand best practices, and upholding ethical, moral, and regulatory standards.

+ Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of nursing practice.

+ Maintain regular and reliable attendance as an essential function of this position.

Essential Skills

+ Associates in Nursing or diploma

+ Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

+ Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Kansas

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work remotely for 2 days per week and on-site for 3 days per week. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, either from 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm. The role is based in a clinic environment. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawrence, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.49 - $45.74/hr.
